Above all others (except bama) uou should always want the gatas to lose.

AND...... If FSU loses, Bama moves up.

But there's a reason neither was ever mentioned in serious contention, making national headlines, etc.

2022 UT - 6 ranked wins. 2 top 10. Beat 3 of the previous 4 NC programs. Another vs reigning ACC champ. +24 ppg margin (surefire playoff caliber margin)

2023 Mizzou and Ole Miss combined - 4 ranked wins. None higher than 13th. 1 of the 4 vs a G5 team...12 ppg margin (mehdiocre NY6 caliber margin at best...welll below playoff caliber teams)


Again, I'm glad some teams outside the norm won 10 games. Just a reminder there are legit 10+ win seasons through SEC gauntlets and those that equal an ACC 10 win season.

I'm not opposed to this, but at the same time, FSU is over ranked. They don't deserve to be in the play offs.

I get it. Surprised you didn't see a lot of it and other crazy stuff in Volusia County. Pretty trashy area. I lived in a really crappy small county about 40 miles outside of Gainesville for a bit and did everything needed to get the hell out of there. I didn't want my kids growing up thinking that it was normal for people to be drug addicts, drug dealers, prostitutes, thieves, etc.

Not everyone there was like that but a huge percentage of the non-retirees were and a lot of the retirees either got taken advantage of or took advantage of all the young females with drug problems. Lots of socioeconomic reasons to blame for how widespread the problems are there but people also need to have a certain level of self respect and accountability to refuse to live that way no matter how difficult it is to make it.

Not managed all that well. There are likely details we don't know that influenced it some, though.
