How do you lose to New Mexico St by 17 then one week later almost beat Alabama?

Lot of predictions were us vs UNC/NC St winner in Gator bowl.

From looking at all the stats, yes NC St is playing better, UNC worse rn, but 100% want NC St. Their offense is trash and no way I want to have a gun it out game vs Maye (or does he go prep for the draft? In that case I want UNC).

Bama also isn't that great this year. They're susceptible...and any team that isn't top 3-4 is usually beatable nearly any random Saturday with the right pieces falling together. They're falling back down from the sky.
