Some people think Banks has done a great job because the defense has improved statistically each year so far and that it will only get better with more talent coming in.

Everyone pretty much falls into one of those camps. Nobody is likely to convince anyone that they should switch camps. Let's all stop saying the same things over and over again. Goodness, if we changed coaches names to politicians names all these conversations would get deleted. Or worse, moved to the politics forum. Just everybody talk about something else for a while, please.

Well I think Banks are good for society. They ensure we can bank on our retirement. And embankments keep our beach home from flooding. And the kids love playing in snow banks. After that they come indoors, drink hot chocolate, and watch Cody Banks. While daddy watches 1990s Tyra Banks.

Don't tell me how to feel about Banks!

You’ll love this. My daughter’s boyfriend got tickets for a luxury suite for today’s game from his mom. Then two more became available and I couldn’t accept because I’m working. 😢 At least she’s having a blast.

I see the SEC this way.

The top teams have everything needed to consistently field elite teams and should be in the title hunt most years.

The middle teams lack in certain areas but have enough to be competitive most years and can occasionally field elite teams and win a title.

Bottom teams can have a good year every now and then, but will never win a title.


Top: Alabama, Texas, Georgia, Florida, LSU

Middle: Texas A&M, Oklahoma, Auburn, Tennessee

Bottom: Everyone else

He’s right though.

He called Dooley, Butch, Pruitt, and others sooner. Just cause it hurts some feelings and people yell at him. He was right in every case.

without searching…. when did he form his original feelings on Dooley, Butch, or pruitt? What did he say and what were others saying?

I’m sure he enjoyed the journey more than the losers who waited for reality to happen for everyone. 😴
