Someone has to drive the lane.

One thing about Pearl, is he could get guys open on the baseline. Also thought his end to end offense, was better. If we could find a sweet spot between running the floor, and half court offense, we couldnt be stopped.

To their credit Purdue played really good defense last night. I gaurantee we'll be seeing that again this year. But so did we.

Have we had a PG that can slice a defense up consistently since that #1 team? Zakai and Vescovi had the chance. For some reason they would stop and pass back out.

I can agree with some of your arguments, but not when you say this. I mean, isn't the goal of any defense to limit the number of points the other team scores?

Many factors are not taken into account with points/game. It doesn't tell the whole story.

We have discussed many Thanksgiving dishes on VN lately..So with that said, the only things I don’t like that were mentioned are beets, brussel sprouts, and cranberry sauce..Favorite meat is turkey and side dish is mashed taters and gravy..Can’t wait until tomorrow.

ZZ too small to regularly finish at the basket, Santi not quite athletic enough. They’re looking to drive and kick unless they can draw a foul. Need Gainey, Santi, Knecht, and ZZ to knock down open shots off those drives. Didn’t happen last night.

Thought the defensive scheme was fine. Switched using our bigs and JJ/Maschack to keep him off balance. Edey’s numbers were in line with his averages. Dude is almost always gonna get his because he’s a giant and one of the best players in college basketball ball.

Two big differences where the game was lost - they shot 18 more FTs and outscored us by 8 from the stripe. There’s the game.

Also, Santi, ZZ, and Gainey were 4 of 20 from 3. Make two more wide open 3s, there’s the game.
