Someone has to drive the lane.Cade Phillips wears the face mask.... They're Freshmen....Mashack is all defense his offense will never be much...
He turned his replies off. Purdue’s President.
ZZ too small to regularly finish at the basket, Santi not quite athletic enough. They’re looking to drive and kick unless they can draw a foul. Need Gainey, Santi, Knecht, and ZZ to knock down open shots off those drives. Didn’t happen last night.Someone has to drive the lane.
One thing about Pearl, is he could get guys open on the baseline. Also thought his end to end offense, was better. If we could find a sweet spot between running the floor, and half court offense, we couldnt be stopped.
To their credit Purdue played really good defense last night. I gaurantee we'll be seeing that again this year. But so did we.
Have we had a PG that can slice a defense up consistently since that #1 team? Zakai and Vescovi had the chance. For some reason they would stop and pass back out.
I’m not sure how that translates to Estrella- a freshman playing the national player of the year and holding his own. It bodes well for us, not the opposite. It means you will always be shorter or less talented than others. It means there are no excuses. Play like today is the last.
i'm take it or leave it with ham, turkey is choosy, er i am. unless there is wild meats i dont really care.We have discussed many Thanksgiving dishes on VN lately..So with that said, the only things I don’t like that were mentioned are beets, brussel sprouts, and cranberry sauce..Favorite meat is turkey and side dish is mashed taters and gravy..Can’t wait until tomorrow.

it’s also more up to Barnes to come up with a plan to contain him. (also very hard to do) 6’11 240 pound freshman versus 7’4 300 pound national player of the year…. it won’t end well without a great scheme.I’m not sure how that translates to Estrella- a freshman playing the national player of the year and holding his own. Somehow, on this site recently, “excuses” is a synonym for “facts.”
Thought the defensive scheme was fine. Switched using our bigs and JJ/Maschack to keep him off balance. Edey’s numbers were in line with his averages. Dude is almost always gonna get his because he’s a giant and one of the best players in college basketball ball.it’s also more up to Barnes to come up with a plan to contain him.
