It's not really complicated. Which shows how stupid people are. When we go 8-4 and very possibly 9-4 in a DOWN TRANSITION year when we dealt with injuries it is much more of a sign that we possibly have a legit very good staff than the opposite.

Sampson had an opp to cut one up field for an easy first down. Instead, he tried to go outside the receiver and didn’t get the first ultimately resulting in a punt. Plays like that are why sampson doesn’t get the touches over small. It’s the little things

You saw it at arky with kj Jefferson. Similarly not so smart qb. Enos insisted on the full play book, they couldn't score. New OC comes in, throws out 2/3 of the play book, they go into the swamp and score a ton of points. I get you're not going to win the sec with a limited playbook, but if your QB can't handle it, you have to change something to maximize whatever potential he does have.

I think we've dumbed it down as much as we possibly could. I mean heck, every play Joe has to look over to see if we are going to change the play. Heupel has to make sure everything is perfect for Joe

It’s not about the record. Most people expected somewhere between 7-5 and 9-3, it’s about how we got dominated in 3 of those losses, 2 of which we were favored. failure to make any positive adjustments or changes throughout the game. You have guys that have been in his system for 3 years now that are still lost and look like they didn’t play past JV and don’t even know how to play zone. A QB who has been here 3 years and got significant PT before this year that still looks lost. Straight up outcoached in every phase in all 4 losses

And then came back and scored 44. Averaging high 20s in the last 3 games. What were they averaging before that?

They're a horrible team, bad teams have bad games. I think it's pretty obvious to anyone watching they look far better on offense with a dumbed down play book.

15-38-215 with 2 ints snapping our win streak against 5-7 kentucky who started a wr at qb. It was reported that they didn’t want to a bowl game…. the next year 11-29-105 yds and 2 ints in a loss to Vandy…. He didn’t earn the right to talk about any other qb.

Beat Vandy next week and I’m good. Not happy about the season but is what it is. If 8-4 is the floor moving forward it’s better than anything in the last 15 years and we know it’s possible to be in playoff contention with this regime.

At the end of the day this is probably the worst roster in terms of talent and depth CJH should have moving forward and despite what anyone says, part of this season was due to extreme outlier bad breaks in terms of officiating and injuries.

Just all around a bad year with too many things working against us and we are still probably going to be 8-4 with a decent bowl bid. With any other of the past coaches we’ve had we don’t finish above .500

Do we still get by TAMU, UK? USCjr game changes? Happy if Nico plays and goes 6-6/5-7 with Joe sitting the whole season? Lmfao there would be 10x more vitriol and possibly lose the room.

Dante Moore put up a whopping 127 qbr this year...in the PAC lol. THE Manning has sat behing Maalik Murphy for goodness sake.

Folks still don't get freshman QBs are not there 😔😌

Yup Dooley and Pruitt didn't even last long enough for a rebuild season.

Butch did - 4-8

And here we are at 8-4 in our (earlier) rebuild year lol

Milton doesnt make any plays that a freshman couldn’t make, that’s why I’ve been wanting him benched lol, Nico and Gaston Moore couldve ran the offense we ran yesterday

Yes, TN goes 8-4 with any QB on the roster. With Nico 10-2 or 11-1 was on the table.

Florida lost to Arkansas at home two weeks ago. Then followed it up by allowing J. Daniels to break every QB record in a single game (600 yards and 6 TD's) while losing to your cross divisional rival by 17. Never look at one game and get too excited.
