4 games zero 2nd half offensive TDs

3 games with zero 2nd half points. I know everyone is fired up about Banks (rightfully so) but this offense has been anemic. It reminds me a lot of the CBJ offense post -Dobbs

In the 5 years he was in Knoxville, Guarantano played for 2 head coaches and 4 offensive coordinators. And I still don’t remember him being as bad as Milton. Maybe the statistics show differently. I’m sure he threw way more interceptions than Milton.

This is joes problem imo, along with the occasional overthrow. He knows who he’s trying to hit before the play even starts, and the problem with that is he doesn’t correctly read what their defense is doing. Without that trait, he has 0 ints this year and we score more than 19 ppg against sec teams.

JG was better than Milton, no doubt in my mind. Milton’s cannon of an arm is the only thing that makes him stand out.

This. If you’ve ever played football, you know what the QB means to the team. He’s the guy that can elevate everyone when they have that authentic it factor.

I feel like everyone on this team likes Joe, but they know he’s just not a good Qb. It’s hard to be confident in your abilities when the guy who is supposed to be the team leader is just not a competent Qb.

Starting OL is all but one graduating.
TE 2 deep is graduating
Tyler Baron is gone. Both our NT are gone.
Pretty much all of our Starting DBs (before injuries) are gone.

Agreed on DB, but the OL is going to be bad. The interior Dline is going to be bad. These are areas that freshmen are less able to step into and shine immediately. LB is still up in the air to me

JG was also coached by a buffoon and had a much more horrible OL. At the end of the day, I do agree neither one is all that great.
