The other HUGE thing you don’t have is a reliable, consistent, offense that will help your defense out. Usually, subpar qb play, coupled with piss poor coaching, puts the D in a bad spot, and subsequently, puts WAY too much pressure on the D!

Agree, it is both sides of the ball but this defense is frustrating. I feel like Tennessee hasn't had a decent football since at least 2016. You really have to go back to Fulmer era though.

Yep. They try that stupid QB draw several times per game and he just takes the snap, does a stutter step, then turns his back to take the hit.

Timid is right. He might have had a first down on the second or third series if he had lowered his head and tried to run over the DB. But he ran out of bounds. Like the Ole Miss game.

Dude no. How many national titles did those teams win? None. Stop.

His statement that those teams were not nearly as talented was factually false. You can't argue it. It's a fact.

I will admit that their coaching improved tremendously, especially on offense. This is what has led to their National Titles. They have always had an elite defense with the exception of the first year that Kirby was there.
