USA TODAY says our coach needs a pay raise!

Just goes to show you that people outside our own fanbase see his value and respect what he's done at Tennessee.
Pretty clear to anyone with eyes to see that this roster limits what the coaches can do. They don't have playmakers, they're slow and there's no depth they trust. I think the play calling on both sides reflects that truth. As for Banks, if the defense hadn't been able to perform at the level they have, I don't think we'd be talking about a possible 9 win season with a bowl victory with this offense.

We could easily be a 5 win team right now worries about bowl eligibility

He is a good DC. You can not win the Kentucky Derby with regular horses. When this defense gets elite players you will see how good he is.
We have more talent than Missouri but sure, okay. He did great making adjustments against Missouri he did great slowing down the one person getting the ball for Missouri. Only thing he’s done great at is allowing opposing players to break records and personal records

You sure about that? Don’t think the NFL will agree

The other side of that coin is that the fanebase follows the program much closer than those outside of it. Sometimes things look good on paper but watching games regularly gives another impression.

Another person triggered......I don't understand the anger and hate. I can understand the critique, but to ignore the body of work considering the circumstances and say he doesn't deserve recognition, seems a bit personal. What did Coach Banks do to you....just curious...😎

And that's part of the problem when offering feedback on the "job" that someone is doing.

Perfectly understandable to say that Coach Banks doesn't "entertain" the fanbase the way they would like, but compared to other programs and talent, and what's happening around the country in football, Banks has done well.

There will always be a segment of fans that thinks we should be able to blitz at will and play high pressure press man coverage all over the field and dictate the game. It just doesn't work that way; especially against modern offenses.

No. Not just no absolutely not. We have a better defensive roster than Missouri. Look what just happened.
