Sometimes teams just don't have their stuff together, it happens. Sometimes calls don't go your way, it happens. I can be ok with those things, but it's obvious that we have some issues. Like JH or not, maybe he's the man or not...but there are things that seem very obvious that for whatever reason has yet to be fixed. Things like poor tackling, lack of discipline, being so consistently unprepared (or unmotivated) when playing a quality team on the road, lack of in-game/half time adjustments...
and you could mention the actual game plan on offense and defense has no imagination. Our players don't make good decisions.
I'm no football genius, but it doesn't take a genius to see some of our glaring issues. I hope JH can get it together

As I and MANY OTHERS have said this year, 8-4 was our ceiling with 7-5 a possibility. Sadly we're seeing that come true today. Next year and Nico we be much better and we'll be back to the high powered Heupel offense. Can't wait.

The problem is not the record. It’s the way we’re losing. Nico can’t fix amateur play calling and busted coverages.

This game is a perfect example of just how far this program is away from where it needs to be. Recruiting and portal acquisitions have to improve a lot. Now, some will say we are top 10 in recruiting, but you are not hitting on positions you need like DB. SPIRE is supposed to be some powerhouse collective, but I'm not sure I see it. And combine that with pisspoor position coaches on defense and here we are

I learned at the 2004 Peach Bowl that when UT comes out flat, it will be a loss. Been true ever since. They never flip the switch and turn things around.
