I've been critical of Milton, but he is 14/17 today. This game is about our defense's inability to get off the field and provide our offense with good field position. What's the story behind getting Milton from Michigan? Whose decision was that? What did they see that nobody else saw? Lot of UM folks warned us not to get our hopes up.
Mizzou is a much better team than UK. Way more physical, too. They've whipped us all over the field. Pure and simple...they wanted this way more than we did. Honestly, this team looked intimidated and like they just had no interest in playing. I want to say that this is a surprise given that a win plus Ole Miss taking UGA tonight would give us a shot at playing for the east, but it's kinda what we do.So against KY, we gameplanmed to stop their allstar running back. Today, we've gameplanned to let their allstar running back get offensive player of the week.
Refs aren’t losing us this game but there is clearly something going on. Not coming from the top but 11 straight quarters with no live ball penalty’s is insaneSo you actually think the SEC leadership came together at the beginning of the year and decided “Let’s unfairly screw the young men playing for UT by calling legitimate or not penalties a because….(fill in the blank)” Please read the last part slowly and out loud until you realize how ridiculous it sounds.
