The Official #13 Tennessee @ #14 Missouri Game Thread, 3:30 PM ET, CBS

Okay for those melting down. We go through this every week.
This team will give up yards. Inevitable at this point.
The goal is to keep them from getting 6.

Missouri is bad in the red zone, Tennessee plays the best defense there. Two things need to happen, win the red zone on defense, run the dang ball effectively.
Bad in the red zone? Aren't they actually one of the best in the country?

At some postage my in time we have to stop palying 12 yards off the ball. Every time they catch it we have no one with in 10 yds. Mizzou is content in keeping the ball as long as possible and check down every play.

In hindsight - punting may not have been a great choice.

Playing to your defense works . . . Unless your defense sucks and cannot get off the field on 3rd down.

Offense was setup at midfield and didn’t do a friggin thing but run the same friggin play. Great play calling.

We certainly aren’t going to win with prevent defense either. They will be on the field the entire game.

Why do we play so soft coverage on D? I’ve asked every game this yr. My Steelers do the same dam$ think. If you get beat deep on a couple of plays, then so be it.

It’s the end of first qtr and we’ve had one offensive possession, a three and out.
