I agree that there are a lot of self described moderate Rs that would vote for Manchin. I disagree that many people who consider themselves Democrats would, they'll do as they are told.

You are certainly correct on moderate Republicans who are searching for a choice. Probably right about Democrats for the most part too but I think there are moderates in that camp that can’t abide by the far left policies. Maybe more than people think. Just have to wait and see I guess.

Schools and infrastructure are where a lot of the waste is because of the union tie in. Can't eliminate waste by insisting that the highest cost players get the jobs or by turning public jobs over to a "public service union". It's guaranteed extortion.

Government and capitalism are both in the hands of idiots rather than responsible adults. Neither understands stewardship or how things interact, both are pulling everything they can get out of a system without any thought to the damage or understanding how they are killing their respective hosts. That is an economy damned and doomed to failure.

Remember every time you read a financial analysist predicting where you should insert funds for profit taking, he's talking half the game ... the part that's robbing the hand that feeds them. There's no free lunch, and you can't get something for nothing. Same with taxes; you can't pull from people earning money to fund those who aren't and expect it not to cause divestment in the economy. We're a nation built more and more on parasitic losses consuming the hosts. One of the best examples is energy, the commodities markets setting exorbitant energy prices, and the costs passed along to the rest of the economy ... business, government, and every living breathing person.

Several blue states across the United States are automatically registering hundreds of thousands of residents to vote each year whenever they interact with state agencies, including welfare offices, a report from journalist John Fund details.

The report, issued by the Committee to Unleash Prosperity, documents the Automatic Voter Registration (AVR) policy now imposed by 23 states and the District of Columbia. All but three of these states are blue states controlled by Democrats.

Fund authored the 2021 book Our Broken Elections: How the Left Changed the Way You Vote with The Heritage Foundation’s Hans von Spakovsky.

In his report, Fund details how states with AVR get residents on voter rolls when people interact with state agencies — including welfare offices, motor vehicle offices, and unemployment offices.

AVR is often coupled with a lack of voter roll maintenance, according to Fund, which leads to major election issues in which ineligible voters, including foreign nationals, are wrongfully registered to vote for years:

Which means they may also be mailing out ballots that these people did not want. Which means they can harass them to turn it in and voter harvest. This is how you can "legally" cheat a system.
