After we beat TX that 1st season, we started going to TBA and we bought season tickets the following year and kept them until BP was fired. I loved Bruce and the energy he broght to a "dead" program. TN isn't getting drug through the mud on ESPN or the local news anymore. I'm more proud of what Barnes has built, satisfied with his results, and I hope he stays at TN until he decides to retire. I also think Heupel and Tony Vitello are fantastic ambassadors for the University of Tennessee. We are in a very special time at UT. I'm more proud to be "everything" VOL fan than ever. People that can't see how good we've got it are either fools or trolls or both

All were 3 stars or less I believe. I don't think Alexander was a 4, he started playing basketball in 11th grade. Those will always be 2 of my favorite teams. I'm not sure in this age of transferring we will ever see a team develop like that one again. 4/5 spent some time in the NBA and I think all but Bone are still floating around, maybe in the G League at least. Looks like Alexander is playing overseas now. Grant's a steady contributor.

That Purdue game still hurts. Don't get me started on officiating smh. I absolutely loathe when officials call a foul on the last play of the game and I am filled with rage when said foul was not even a correct call.

People are complaining about CRB?!?! I'll complain a little every March per usual but good lord, touch some grass. He'll go down as the greatest men's basketball coach at Tennessee ever if he's not there already.

I love how these idiots cite CPF's few down years (back in the day it was, "10 wins is Fulmer's ceiling, fire him"). We hired Kiffin who never won anything or had a good record anywhere, he still hasn't. And most of their like were overjoyed by it. I thought he was a punk from day one and so are most of them, the Legion of the Miserables.

With Barnes, it feels like you connect and actually know every player that’s come and gone since he’s been here. I know it’s stupid, but it’s the little things sometimes

Agree on all counts. Boeheim is 78 and still coaching so I'm still hopeful Barnes has a handful of years left.

I don't know if we neg recruit other programs or not, but Michigan is just begging to be neg recruited right now. First Harbaugh lies to the NCAA. Then we get the sign stealing. Now this.

@Orangeredblooded this is why I stopped coming around. Too many people with too many real problems and get on here just to see whiny babies complaining about players and coaches as if they are supposed to stomp their foot and get whatever they want exactly when they want it. Didn’t have time to do much but look for some posts to like. Couldn’t find any. Have time today because of a painful broken wrist only to find bitching about our successful basketball coach because he is not perfect enough.

It takes someone with really thick skin to stomach some of the dribble coming from some of our posters. I've backed off a bunch coming in here for the same reason. I told myself long ago to avoid this place like the plague after a loss :) :) :).

I skip over tons of posts, and it really makes easier to hang out in here

you have to look at an overall program….. Phil was unable to adapt to the changes in football…. His recruiting suffered and is a big reason that Kiffin had to play walk ons….Only one person has called for Barnes to be fired and that is just checkerboards…..If we lose HEUP, CRB, Vitello….. i have no doubt that we will be fine bc we have a solid foundation from the top down…. It’s a great time to be a Vol!!!
