Old news now, but ESPN retracted the story. The latest rumor is that AZ is evaluating Lendale and Chris Henry.

I am sure they can find another back to pound it in from 2 yards. Boldin is a top 5 talent at his position, White isn't even a starter.

I don't hate him, but he is nothing spectacular. Boldin is.

Wasn't he in the top 5 in rushing TDs last year? I love having a guy that's automatic on the goal line.

EDIT: He was tied for 3rd in the league with 15 TDs.

Mainly it's attitude issues. Also he seems to have that problem of saying or doing something stupid everytime someone puts a mic or camera in front of him.

Also the whining thing about carries too

He's nothing more than an average short yardage back. He showed in the playoffs he can't handle any more than a light load.

Wells and Johnson would be beastly. I doubt the Cards would take that though but that would be my dream too.

I just read that Sal Paolantonio reported that Arizona dropped their asking price to a 2nd round pick. Lendale plus a late 2nd rounder would be a good deal then.

Sweet... not. Would have been much happier with a LB or that Boldin trade and take Wells.. Wells would have been much better to have than Lendale... no more of that constantly getting hit in the backfield and losing 4 yards because he has no acceleration.

If Nicks was still there or the speedster Oakland took - I would have been fine with a WR... or even the long shot that Harvin was available.

Yep. It's 50 year anniversary for the former afl teams, so twice this season they will wear throwback jerseys
