The fans were a big factor in the game for sure. Grateful that our fans brought the heat today because I don't know if we could play that game on the road and get that win. Great work to all who brought it in Neyland this afternoon!

“That’s so Tennessee!” is a defeatist, beta refrain I generally ignore, but Michael Penix on this team with everything else available would have kept Hooker at Virginia Tech and set new records…if Pruitt and Helton hadn’t gone SO TENNESSEE.

QB position has got to perform better for us to win the remaining SEC road games.

I don't think that is really debatable anymore.

If Josh Heupel can't fix you...no one can.

Oh yeah I know it was on Joe. That's honestly the only time I saw Donte but I think you're right on the deflection. Been a super disappointment

He is different, just that one move that reminds me of Reggie’s old hump move.

This may be hyperbole but I don’t think I can remember seeing a quicker burst off the ball than Pearce.

I agree, but I also don't think we will face a DL even close to what A&M was bringing. Joe was uncomfortable and he lasered when he should have aired on several throws. SEC road games will be tough but if we can run the ball and play defense we will at least have a punchers chance.

Half the time I am worried that he is gonna get called for offsides but then I realize that he is just that dang quick off the ball!

I wish Nico was ready...if our passing game could just get to better than mediocre level...with this defense...😳

Milton just can't do it....I love the guy, I want him to do well sooo badly..I don't feel like I did towards JG about him...but he just can't do it.

I trust the coaches that Nico isn't ready yet....but I wish he was.

UK and Missouri are toss ups at best....just because of the passing game.

Joe isn't great.

He doesn't have any flow to his game and he struggles with improvisation.

However, he isn't the worst and he's made a lot of plays for us. Our receivers are not great at all and if he had last years core he is likely significantly better. O-line doesn't give him much time. He won't be great, but if our WR core can be better for him and if our o-line can give him more time the rest of the way he will play a lot better than he did today.

To be fair, Rees winning with Milroe isn’t a great comparison. Milroe is a better passer (not saying good, just better than Joe) but more importantly Rees is working with years of top 1-3 recruiting classes and CJH recruits are just now getting started.

If JG is our QB today he throws two pick 6's and probably fumbles the ball off his dingaling at the one yard line and we get blown out.

At least Joe doesn't have the catastrophic turnover gene. That one pick was bad, but it wasn't throwing into triple coverage over and over and over and over and over again bad.

Maybe, but when you can run the ball on offense and make the other quarterback make mistakes anything can happen. I think we win both the UK and Muzzoo games with our run game and our Defense.

I understand the thinking behind it. Could very well ruin some potential in a rush. Different world in football now, but even Peyton struggled with the speed and intensity of the game in his true freshman season…and he had been preparing since birth. He was WAVES better as a second year player and I believe even moreso if he could’ve observed Jerry Colquitt.
