Unfortunately, I have to agree. If he would’ve just made a decision to run forward and lower the shoulder, he would’ve gotten the first down. Not only does he struggling mentally, he just doesn’t have the courage to take chances. He is too conservative, and it costs us regularly.
I thought one of the things UT does well is line up super fast and run a quick play before the D can get set. Bet yet they semi-huddled giving the D a chance to organize and dead in the water as a result.
