Do like NFL..when someone inquires about injuries and status for next game give them the ..Questionable to play..or the best one he is day to day. Lol.When it comes to injury and player health info, which isn’t really our business, I am always reminded of the words of the immortal Francis Underwood: “You are entitled to nothing.”
Dude needs to go to Mich St or Iowa. He is a good enough coach who makes UK a “slight” pain. Need them to go back to being a 4-8 team. He has done them well for ten years plus, it’s time. Although he has it made. They schedule awful teams to ensure bowl eligibility.Thought this was interesting…..
According to Kentucky.com, Stoops’ comments were made in response to a disgruntled fan who asked Stoops about Kentucky’s struggles vs. elite teams in the SEC.
“Fans have that right, I give it to them. I just encourage them to donate more, because that’s what those dudes are doing,” Stoops said, via Kentucky.com. “I can promise you Georgia, they bought some pretty good players. You’re allowed to these days. We could use some help.”
Stoops also said fans should “pony up” if they’re frustrated with the program’s struggles vs. teams like Georgia.
Stoops was too greedy to leave when he had lucked into an unearned reputation that would have allowed him to go and thereby preserve the false impression he made at KY for a little second. Now it's too late. KY is way overpaying.
This is the ultimate poverty program clause. Insane that any respectable program accepts this on an ongoing basis.Seems like he made the right decision by staying at KY imo. He's making $9 million a year to beat a bunch of nobodies and, if I recall correctly, there's a clause in his contract where it gets extended another year whenever his team reaches bowl eligibility.
That's a golden parachute.

He’s right. And also they probably shouldn’t pay a coach twice what he’s worth and instead bought 3-4 good players with it.Thought this was interesting…..

The common thread has been the offensive line struggling mightily with the noise. They did okay in Tuscaloosa a couple years ago, but every big road game since has indeed been a struggle.Until we figure out how to play winning football on the road, I can’t make myself believe we beat Bama at their place. I think we caught LSU in the perfect situation last year. Early in the season with a new coach, still trying to figure things out, plus an early morning game. Haven’t had the same success against any other quality team on the road. Hoping this team figures it out so we don’t have another UF type game at bam.
This! GBO!!!!To think otherwise is silly. However, to chalk this up as an L is equally as silly. Our team showed massive improvement on the offensive side of the ball with Cooper back at C. And with the exception of the one long run, our Defense shut Rattled down hard and I would say he is a better QB that Max Johnson. I think it will be a hard fought game where our fans give us the edge and we pull away late to win by a couple of scores.
It would be nice to talk about it in a game thread...
