Got no problem with your stance, but that wasn't the point being discussed. There was a contention that Milroe was a better QB than Milton. Stats are a valid point of comparison. Still, to be fair, I'll rephrase my previous post.As long as we win I dont give a damn about his stats.
Again if Milton does his part and we win I don't care if he throws for 100 yards and is 8 of 20. Just win. An ugly win is always better than a flashy loss. Supporting cast has a lot to do with how good a qb looks and the stat sheetGot no problem with your stance, but that wasn't the point being discussed. Milroe beat aTm on the road and his team is 5-1. Let's see how Milton fares next week.
I'd love to think we could line up and run the ball down our opponents throats and win a game with Milton passing for 100 yards, but the reality is that we will need him to play at a level that, frankly, we just haven't seen from him to beat teams like aTm, Bama, etc. This offense goes only as well as the QB plays. Hell, it's built around the QB. Unfortunately, our prospects this season will rise and fall with the play of Joe Milton.Again if Milton does his part and we win I don't care if he throws for 100 yards and is 8 of 20. Just win. Exactly....Heupel's offense goes as the QB goes.I'd love to think we could line up and run the ball down our opponents throats and win a game with Milton passing for 100 yards, but the reality is that we will need him to play at a level that, frankly, we just haven't seen from him to beat teams like aTm, Bama, etc. This offense goes only as well as the QB plays.
