I will add that a chunk of the homes being sold are sold to investment companies that turn them into rentals or Air BNB's. Another big blow to home ownership.

I'm honestly shocked that you can get a "starter home" in the Nashville area for 250. There is only one house for sale in my zip code that's under $400, and it's 399, 1250 sf, no yard.

This is in the adjacent zip:

201 Wakefield Rd, Knoxville, TN 37922 | MLS #1239318 | Zillow

The house next to our old one in Lenoir City (which we sold for $229 approx 11 y ago) just sold for 700 and is much smaller than ours was.

It's absolutely insane here.

My $250k was the most generous low side because the value of my home is just a little over double so I used that.

Quite a few Tribes do love the income on tribal lands. Does the government think they let people put up wind turbines or oil wells on their land for free?

That's been so obvious from the start. You have a bunch of migrants crossing one place and distracting the border patrol, and send drugs across at another point. I'd bet the guys on the ground at the border know all this, and the people at the top are clueless about everything ... the ones actually bright enough at the top to figure it out have another agenda from ours anyway. This would be the place to use helicopter gunships ... or drones like Ukraine is doing. You could scare the illegals with the thought of harm while actually using force on suspected drug smugglers. If you screw up, not a problem there are plenty more of both groups waiting in line.

If you think back to the inauguration, Podesta said they would have an administrative state. Basically we wouldn't know who was running the country. That is a scary thought because there is no accountability. It makes Biden look like the puppet he really is.
