I agree - Texas should move up and we should concede them that move. Bama is not dropping out of the top 10. There is no one below us that should move ahead of us except Texas.

The day Bama is ever ranked outside the top 10 I am having myself a party for the ages . It’s long overdue

How low did Bama drop in the rankings last year? Is this the lowest they have been in basically decades?

The AP reflected what many of you thought ... media hates us ... and loves ND and Ala

Since Texas was ranked below Tennessee and most likey they wont drop Bama that far I suspect UT will go from #9 to #10 in the AP given our non dominant performance. No other teams in the top 10 lost and i think Tennessee played bad enough to be the odd man out.

Said the same to my wife last night. Bama lost and will stay the same, while we win and will drop.

It is our own assumptions and expectations that are giving us (collectively) a negative viewpoint.
Here are some sobering thoughts ... OU, OS and TN all won their game and dropped 2 and NC won and dropped 4. That means we are being punished because of EXPECATIONS.
Coaches have strategic plans when those plans do not produce the assumed results ... negativity ensues.
Observations from the hilltop sage, the old guy: It's week 2 ... let's all go do yoga for a day or two ... and then come post when we are more centered. :^)

The coaches poll looks quite lazy IMO. No thought. AP im surprise they dropped Bama that far.

This point of the year it doesn’t matter. Let’s get past Florida. We still have tough matchups against Texas A&M , Bama. Get past those , if we just keep winning , looking forward to that Ga game. I didn’t just spend $1300 on UGA and TN tickets to be worried about the polls right now. Just keep winning. The boys needed a scare and fight like last night. Remind them to be humble and keep grinding. In Christ alone!
