With how slow and chaotic the regional radar looks, I'm not even sure if this game is going to be played - or if it is, how much of it will be played through stops and starts. The inclement weather is very slow moving south to north, and shows development all the way to Asheville. I wonder if there's a limit on how many restarts they give a game, or if it's just as much as possible before the day's exhausted.

A true die-hard Tennessee Volunteer fan was sitting in his season ticket seat on the 50 yard line by himself next to an empty seat. Another fan behind him asked why the seat was empty. The man replied, "Well my wife usually sat there next to me, but she passed away recently." The man behind him offered his condolences and then asked why almost every other seat nearby was empty. The Tennessee fan replied, "They are at her funeral."

Not a true fan. A true fan would have gotten fans on the street to use the unused tickets and fill Neyland.

Oh that's so lame. I get it, but it's lame.

I remember that super rainy Vanderbilt game in 2019, where they told us to all take shelter and flashed the radar on the jumobtron for forty minutes. I had a beer in each hand and a big orange poncho, so I just sat on my seat in the rain and toasted the crazies out with me in the rain until they resumed. At some point I want to say the security people were trying to shepard us off beneath the stadium, but I think even they got tired of it and just shrugged at some point.

Strange though, I want to say they were selling beer during that delay. I might be wrong though. But maybe the school changed that after the city got pissy about beer sales? Ugh. Politicians ruining everything.

Still though, lame.
