She pretty much directs a lot of questions asked to other department heads she doesn't want to discuss while at the podium. She's a big deflector in not answering what's important (this is not one of them). She has to read from her notebook on all things asked & if it's not in her notebook she tells them to ask someone else for the answer. And everyone knows when you do go & ask someone else the question she doesn't answer, to save her the embarrassment, you want get an answer there either. She & the media as a whole is a big embarrassment to the press.

What's worse, that or using the phrase "circle back" ad nauseum while never "circling back" at all?

If a person holding a press conference is unable to answer questions or has no insight into the material covered, then simple drop the charade and print a briefing statement. This daily show of stupidity is absurd ... nothing different from viewing an invitation to a meeting as a status symbol.
