President Joe Biden - Kamala Harris Administration

I’m sure if they think they can get away with it, they will ask* again.

As long as enough people are complicit, we are gradually going to descend back into the covid restrictions. Don’t think we will go back to full lockdowns, but there will be just enough restrictions for the folks in charge to pull the mail in voting rabbit out of the hat once again.

I think we have to acknowledge that the GOP has its fair share of villains / virus as well such as Trump, McConnell, Christie, etc. Whether it be intentional or unintentional, they pave the way for the Democrats to do whatever they like which ultimately is to pursue one party rule and, in turn, impose whatever mandates they want whenever they want.

Those of us who aren’t total extremists on either side have to come to the realization that the two main parties right now both are bad guys (not accusing you of falling into this trap, just a statement of fact) and jump ship from the “my team vs. your team” line of thinking.

While I fully believe Trump is nothing but a huge problem at this point, I do think we need an outsider as president who is willing to come in and play hard ball with the evildoers who exist on both sides of the aisle. That’s why I’m a big fan of Vivek. Don’t agree with everything he says, but he strikes me as an intelligent guy who wouldn’t lose any sleep over pissing off the Washington establishment over issues like Covid policy which is precisely what we need.

That is why Desantis should be the guy.

I think his culture war tactic has backfired on him. He should just focus on policy which I think is what he’s starting to do. He also should play to the Trump voters by defending Trump instead of attacking him which is what Vivek has done so far. Even if it’s completely insincere, he (or any other Republican not named Trump) will need the MAGA crowd in order to have any chance of winning the general election. Kiss Trump’s a** here and there to please them. Make a the occasional headline by defending Trump, just enough for his supporters to believe DeSantis is on their side. That’s unfortunately the only path to winning them over imo. Otherwise they will sit out the election or write Trump in which essentially hands the election to the Dems on a silver platter.

We shall see if our "patriots" and men in uniform will carry out these orders. I've been hearing so much about how the "patriots" in the military and law enforcement are on the side of the people...
Maybe a few would balk at enforcing them. Most would act like the Stasi, either gladly or out of a sense of duty.

Desantis was doing that in the beginning or ignoring the Trump questions all together. Trump's 3rd grade antics must have gotten the best of him and he has changed his tactics some.

I think candidates like Pence, the former Arkansas governor, Christie, etc are hurting the party. They have no path to victory and their only objective is to cause problems.

Either way American has to get this totalitarian administration out of there. They have weaponozed every agency and have abandoned our sovereignty intentionally. They brazen tell bold face lies because they feel the have enough lemmings they've perverted to stay in power or got a couple of cheating % of votes in their back pocket.

Yes, he was.

I argued relentlessly with @allvol123 in the early days of Covid, called him all sorts of things.

He was right. I was wrong.
We’ve all been there brother.

As a younger man, I ignorantly argued with family members that Obama was gonna save this country. Almost 15 years after his inauguration, I continue to see how he actively works to destroy us.

I was wrong. They were right.

Vivek is quite smart and on the mark but candidly has not proven himself yet. It’s one thing to talk, it’s another to administrate. This was Trumps problem, he didn’t really understand the inner workings of the beast he wanted to dismantle and because of that, he was far less effective than he could have been.

Trump's big problem was that he couldn't get people to work for him. He either fired them or they quit. He's pissed off a lot of guys who once supported him, like Pence and Christie. You can't serve well as President if no one will work for you. The President needs a lot of good people to delegate to.

Republicans need to look elsewhere for a nominee

Would his being a megalomaniacal grifter also have been part of Trump's problem?

Bidenomics! young people are gonna be behind the eight ball as this will push them into renting even longer
I just can't imagine anyone who bought or refinanced between 2019-2022 ever selling. Why would you give up a 3% mortgage to then take on double that? Sure some will move die etc but housing is going to be tight for some time I think
