Your Baltimore Orioles are now in sole possession of first place in the AL. The Rays are riding a 5-game losing streak and will probably slip further behind as the season goes on. They are only 40-37 since beginning the season at 20-3. The Rangers are still lurking at the top and only 1.5GB of the O’s. They have a tough 6-game stretch coming up though and several of their series on the backend are against teams above .500. Don’t look now but the Blue Jays are on the move. They have the 4th best record in the AL and are only 5.5GB of the O’s. The AL East and Pennant should be a fun watch down the stretch. No team has really separated themselves and it will be close the rest of the season.
I think he was talking about best record in A.L for home field....The Orioles lost tonight to the Rays, after taking the first game of a 4 gamer last night. The AL East is gonna be a new look barn burner this season with the traditional powers Baaastan Red Sawks and the Evil Empire fading fast. The O's are where they are despite not having their staff ace, John Means, and despite a poor stable of middle relievers. They have the number one prospect in baseball in SS Jackson Holiday and their farm system is loaded for bear. They are gonna be good for 5 to 10 years. The Rangers are not in the AL East.
Yeah, I don’t think we’re in the Big12 anymore Toto...Here’s the athletic’s list of SEC teams by tiers. Any thoughts come to mind by chance???

I’m glad the Orioles are good again. I think it’s good for baseball. The Orioles lost tonight to the Rays, after taking the first game of a 4 gamer last night. I would move LSU, Texas, Oklahoma down a tier. Alabama and Georgia have been the gold standard of college football in recent years. Texas hasn’t been in contention since Colt McCoy, Oklahoma won’t be in contention with Venables but have had a lot of success recently, and I’m still not 100% sold on LSU to beat Alabama or Georgia consistently. Here’s the athletic’s list of SEC teams by tiers. Exactly! Basically there are 3 tiers.I would move LSU, Texas, Oklahoma down a tier. Alabama and Georgia have been the gold standard of college football in recent years.
