Serious question………doing yard today and noticed something.
Father‘s day last year my youngest daughter gave one of those Orange T yard decorations.
I haven’t touched it since we put it under a large oak tree in our front yard. We went 11-2 do I temp fate and clean it or leave it a lone?
It’s not that I’m superstitious or anything……..on the other hand why mess with something that’s working🤷🏼‍♂️🧡

How bad could it look from just sitting under the tree? Does it really need cleaning? Unless it looks all muddy or just dirty, then why tempt the football gods. Leave it alone.

We would have lost millions taking Japan...Oppenheimer helped save AMERICAN lives...don't be stupid.
I just finished reading, “The Fleet at Flood Tide”. The Japanese had a 7 million man army, half of which were in the home islands and approximately 5,000 Kimikaze planes at the end of the war. The entire country was prepared to fight to the death.

Jimmy Hyams was on Sports Talk this morning. He was discussing the the hold up with the NCAA penalties. He said a bowl ban was off the table. They were not instituting a bowl ban. He said the disagreement was the NCAA want a huge fine, $10,000,000. Also the biggest hang up was significant scholarship reductions. I would take the $10,000,000 and say we'll see you in court and sue them into oblivion. This should be the standard that NEVER, EVER, EVER COOPERATE WITH THE NCAA! This organization needs to be defunct.
I don't see how this could be. Georgia represents us (the SEC) on the NCAA board and Sabey via his direct report Skankey is the NCAA's major SEC input.

I’ve heard those were the points of contention, but that was during the negotiation stage. At this point, they’ve already held the hearing and are awaiting verdict. They aren’t supposed to be having any continuing discussions.
Another case of "Thanks, Jimmy [Hyams]"? 😂 Hope so. But awaiting word from LAVol.

Re: Bama/VOLS rerun I watched last night:

One thing I missed the first time was after one of the commercial breaks--Gary said you could almost hear a pin drop. This just shows how amazing our fans are. Rest your voice until you need it. You think they didn't make a difference? Look at all those delay of game penalties. BAMA team absolutely could not hear.

Also, the play where Bama player touched the ball on the kickoff after they stopped us--Saban's hair was sticking straight out of his head.. That's why Urban Meyer quit the SEC. You've got to have nerves of steel.

Our team beat more than a few topped rank teams last year. Let's keep Hype for a while.

Hyams was on this morning and made it sound like that's the reason for it not being done. He made it sound like it was still going back and forth.
Maybe @LA Vol can shed some light.
I have seriously heard that the hold up is rival teams pressuring the NCAA, saying that it is "not fair" that we went from dogsh-t to #6, beating Bama, and Orange Bowl champions in two years. We were supposed to be punished. But instead we are prospering. They are striving with all their might to use the NCAA to do for them what they themselves can't do on the field. @LA Vol

The bags that Pruitt threw recklessly was a poor copy of exactly what he learned from GA and Saban. And the amount begged on us is less than the price of two Dodge Challengers. (I hear the Challenger has superceded the Charger). The NCAA is a criminal organization. That's why it would be a terrible injustice if they are allowed to "regulate" (rig) NIL. It would be a return to who is permitted to cheat with impunity. No wonder Saban and Kirby want regulations.

The NCAA is getting into deciding outcomes as opposed to penalties? That'll go over well in court.

A good start would be to stop having 70 year olds announce football games.

No offense to you geriatrics out there.
I know some half their age that are no better maybe worse. It’s no secret Danielson loves the Tide and Georgia. Just listen to him and his partners calling their Touchdowns versus everyone else’s. The contrast is very real. GBO!!!!

Heupel has done a really solid job so far. The Pittsburgh, Ole Miss and Purdue games still burn a bit as does the South Carolina game this past season but hopefully Tennessee can keep the momentum
The first three were stolen. Perhaps that was part of the unofficial NCAA "penalty." But I think the first and third were ACC garbage and in the second instance the Birmingham office wanted Ole Miss to preserve its shot at a NY6 combined with Sabey wanting us held down.

There has been times when I've turned down the sound, but it's usually when we are being slaughtered. (I actually don't like the announcers who slobber all over the VOLS either-- Just call the plays) I will say the Vern announcement of the Dobb Nail boot was certainly much better then Bob Kesling's "what a turn of events". I also didn't think they sounded bias watching the repeat last night.. In fact seemed pleased that the game was so much fun.

So, we really believe the NCAA and various conferences have edicts to fix game outcomes? So much so that refs are under order to affect outcomes? This is what we think?

As bad as things got when a rogue ref in the NBA was found to be fixing games for personal financial benefit, we're saying that a league is giving orders to determine game outcomes?

And the ones saying it are on a sports board dedicated to fandom in that organization, in that they believe it's a crooked league and they still follow it?

Is this the WWF?

I posted under handle 'Ugahater', and yes there were times in ze life, such as first few years of marriage that I didnt post, just read.

Grad school I barely ever posted. Also had a VQ sub back then.
I remember ugahater

He was half commie half prick

Lol jk

Honest question for you Braves fans….HTF did they only win 1 WS???
Best trio ever.

4th and 5th in the rotation were never shabby either. Sometimes a shaky bullpen was the culprit, but I think there wasn't enough counterbalance from the batting side. We had some hosses like McGriff, but top to bottom it was nothing resembling a murderer's row.
