'24 AZ EDGE Elijah Rushing (Oregon commit)

I ask myself why would a five star edge rusher play in the PAC12 when he could play against the best in the SEC? Only thing that makes sense is if he just wants to stay home close to family. That's a powerful thing. But so is the chance to play in the SEC and be better developed against higher competition amd drafted higher for it.

Atl certainly didn’t help the insider rep on this site. However, I’ve been here almost 14 years, and time and time again you see people show up who claim to have insider information that post vague, cryptic comments and emojis. Most of it never pans out, but the fan base hangs on their every word. When one of their predictions actually does pan out, they’re all of a sudden an expert despite the 15 times they were wrong. Some of them like do have insider information. @MetalVolunteer doesnt tend to stick his neck out too far, so I tend to believe maybe he does hear some things, but these folks who come in celebrating with champagne bottles two weeks before the kid commits when the kid himself doesn’t even know where he’s going…it’s just nonsense that gets everyone all riled up, and leads to handwringing and anger at the coaching staff when the champagne inevitably gets popped elsewhere.
That’s not true at all……. If a kid sets a commitment date…. 99% of the time… he knows where he is going…. He may not tell AP/ people like him but he knows and most of the times the coaches know….. There have been a ton of real/fake insiders…. People have trusted: skeeter(when he was inside the athletic office), LWS, Deerpark for Uniforms, GFW( when he was close to the program), KingNico seems pretty accurate as well….I haven’t seen enough from the rest to trust them. ATL Vol was an insider that was confirmed by many posters… His info wasn’t the greatest bc it seemed 2nd/3rd hand and not directly from a reliable source.

I was an insider at one time…. Not recruiting but depth chart/practice reports… my guy was a medical intern that worked with the qb group…. I knew that Harrison Bailey was transferring 3-4 days before VQ ever said a word about it…I was almost wrong once bc word in the locker room that BY was starting…. I didn’t see the message in time to tell everyone here( he ended up not playing)

Fans will be mad at the staff bc we know who we are targeting….. that comes from VQ and sites like that…. If a fake/real insider misses…. Our fans chase that person around making fun of them. Everyone can figure out who they like/trust…. The annoying part is having discussion about who is/isn’t an insider.

agree but at some point you gotta close em
While I get the sentiment.... we are not selling houses. These are 18 year olds with their whole lives ahead. I would rather have the guys who are happy here and see a future. It doesn't do any good to recruit 5 stars who leave after their 1st year because they do not want to sit behind someone. Fit and culture, I trust CJH and staff to continue to build that culture and brotherhood inside that locker room

I’m by no means an insider but I posted a month ago in the baseball forum that I had heard rumors Chase Burns was unhappy and wanting to transfer and my post got deleted, so the one time in my life when I had legit info, it was deleted 😂. My run at being an insider ended before it started.

We do close….. not all five stars but 94 or better rating….. Nico, Hobbs, Carter, Seldon, Bradley, Davis, and Matthews…. We won’t get everyone but recruiting is getting better every single season like it should.
We are also on track to have our most or second most blue chippers (Butch had 16 one year) and our ratio is big boy level. I really want this kid buy we are in great shape regardless.
