I don't particularly like Trump. He acts like a clown. If he had pivoted his personality after he won the 2016 election it would've done him a lot of good. Of course I can't blame the man for being upset as we have seen full exposure of the deep state the last six years. The evil has been thrown in our faces.

With that said, I like a fighter. Someone who will stand up to the political structure of Washington DC. That place is infested with bad actors. If I was Trump, I would've ridden out my remaining years in peace. I go back to Trump interviews in the 70's and 80's and he makes clear his thoughts on politics. To be POTUS, there is a level of narcissism but there is something noble I found in a man willing to risk it all. He didn't need the money. Who else do we know gave away the salary?

I would've wanted Trump to be more fiscally conservative. Other than that I liked many of his other policies. He is a man of action. You can tell a lot about a person observing them.

Observe Trump. Observe Biden. We see a stark difference across the board.

Although I'd suggest that trump isn't a fighter so much as he is a narcissist, he tears down others not because they require it, but because it makes him feel like better. I don't understand how he's considered an "outsider" still; can you elaborate?

Almost every person he's surrounded himself with in positions of importance, have said how unfit he is to hold the office. At what point do people notice that the common denominator of Trumps inability to hire and retain talent?

What you fail to account for is that people can hold that Biden is trash and Trump is also trash. They are two sides of the same turd.

I call a one time politician an outsider. They don't want him there. He's promised to tear down their safe spaces where they can crony up to each other and misuse our tax dollars.

You bring up two character traits about Trump that disturb me about him. He has a 3rd grade name for everyone he disagrees with and he acts like he's still on The Apprentice. Both are unprofessional and cringeworthy. Though I don't like it I can accept narcissism if I have to. What I can't accept is everything else that would lead to complete failure in any other industry which are many of the career politicians who have gotten personal wealth "serving".

From my understanding, its not that he declassifies. Thats an afterthought. It is his power to decide what is PERSONAL and what is NOT. All he has to do is decide it is personal and that is that. If it is currently classified in some way, then it gets declassified perhaps but bottom line is he has sole discretion to decide what is personal and he can show it to whomever he will. That, at least has been the precedent.

That may be an oversimplistic rendering of the legal structure of it but it seems very similar to what SCOTUS said about Bill Clinton's case IIRC.

I hear you and hate that our leaders use politics as a career. And I think an argument can be made that he tears down any institution or person he perceives as a threat. He's attacked and turned his followers against journalists, law enforcement (FBI, DOJ, CIA) most of his Cabinet, elections - anyone and anything that was perceived to be a threat to his power or otherwise hold him accountable was attacked as the enemy. It's astonishing that in four short years all of these instituions have become the mortal enemy of the MAGA crowd.

I don't believe that's accurate - it's literally why NARA asked him to give some of it back. Keeping War plans or nuclear secrets/ as personal keepsakes not only seems deeply irresponsible but an outright threat to national security.

Can you cite the precedent through statute or court opinions? Not saying it doesn't exist, just don't want to do the homework and assume you have because you are saying it's your opinion.
