Have AP, Matt Ray or Ryan Callahan said we're out of it? Not that I heard. The last thing I heard from each of them in low-key cautious optimism, like maybe between a 30%-40% puncher's chance. So, the Oregon info is basically just saying that the Ducks are out of it.

You’re right, and we will hit on a few. I tend to think we’ll get Matthews, Warren, Russell and possibly Bates. That’s a dang good haul. Jefferson seems a lot more up in the air, but if we added him too, we’d have to be elated.

Don’t we say when a player picks bama/uga/ohio, that they could go anywhere to get noticed by the NFL, so they don’t need those schools, and that they should have come here to stand out and be special, to build a legacy? We should be glad that big time dudes aren’t just going to the top 3-4 schools.

I think, imo, the point is why do you care so much that you go on and on about It?
I’m a believe it when I see it type, but if someone else on here believes “insiders” or if they don’t believe “insiders”, either way i give zero cares. I don’t try to convince anyone to believe or not to believe. Why do you care if someone wants to be positive and choose to believe?

I agree. I'm sure not being overly pushy is helpful with some recruits, but in an era where most kids don't decommit after their initial commitment, it seems to leave us watching as they commit to the next school they visit (who happens to be one of the pushy ones). If we get the majority of the kids we're expected to, it'll still be a really, really nice class.
