No, surprisingly her parents have nothing to do with it.

Short story: Wife tells me Thursday that dear daughter is throwing a baby shower at the house Sunday. I tell her ok but I’m watching the game on Friday and getting out on the lake Saturday then Sunday I’m getting things ready for our trip, washing the camper, boat ext. So yesterday it’s “I need you to do“ and I said nope, watching the game so she was pissed. Today I say let’s go and she says we have to do x for the shower I said nope, see ya. Get home and dear daughter hasn’t shown up to so crap, wife is working her ass off and I tell her I told you so.

Rule #3 Should the husband accidentally get something right, it is to be forgotten within two days; all other things will be remembered in perpetuity - even if the memory isn't what actually happened.

Hotel prices for UGA are stupid high. Luckily a couple of the downtown Hilton hotels, whose prices are astronomical, haven't changed the cost to book with points. Booked two nights for 120,000 points which is not a ton. For example Hilton wants 60,000 points a night. The Cumberland House wants 445,000 points a night.
