Random, Thoughts, X,XXIV

I thought it was fantastic. I kept feeling like I was at a revival, they had so much energy and positivity.

That show with Willie is here in September, I may go. Seeing Willie is a must, I saw home about 30 years ago with Waylon.

Well, since you went to a concert, you are going to hell...

So, your Anheuser-Busch, and demographic trends suggest declining sales and a dim future. Your marketing team recommends a new strategy to reel in the younger generation through social media influencers. They target a 26-year-old with 10 million followers. Bonus, they influencer identifies as trans, a plus with the gender-fluid embracing 20-somethings.

Unfortunately, the marketing team was wearing blinders to the potential backlash among Bud’s core demographic - straight white guys who like trucks and draft horses. In a moment that solidifies his irrelevance, Kid Rock shoots up everything around a bunch of cans of Bud Light with an assault-style weapon. Worse, knee-jerk traders dump stock in AB’s parent, fueling a $5 billion drop in market cap.

AB quickly floods the media with a hastily patched together draft horse - truck - cowboy - love - America advertisement. 🙄

So if I remove the mower drive belt from the clutch pulley and remove the deck, put it into gear, and the clutch pulley turns, the problem has to be in the deck with the drive belt or another pulley on the deck itself, right?
Edit: starts fine, engine runs fine, blade engages, won't go once it's put into gear

Try plugging it in the wall socket. Yer welcome

And it goes fine with the deck off?
I had some vertigo this morning....was afraid to get into the garage floor today to remove the deck....daughter was mowing with it, pulled it onto the driveway, and it just stopped
I thought maybe she had put the range lever into N or something....but when I got on it and tried to engage, it took a sliver of the belt off
the sliver was there at the clutch pulley but she had gone inside already and I had nobody out there to see if the clutch pulley was turning
I think the pulley is turning or that sliver of belt would not have been up there toward the front
I'm going to take the deck off tomorrow and see. While I'm at it, I think I'll change both belts (tricky on that mower, easy to pinch off a finger)
I am thinking it is a frozen pulley somewhere, and not that clutch pulley
