Trump tells reporter, 'I heard you’re a nice guy from NBC, but you’re not'

Former President Trump reportedly grabbed an NBC reporter's phone and demanded he be removed from his plane after he was asked about the criminal probe by Manhattan DA Alvin Brag during an informal press gaggle, according to newly obtained audio.

The heated exchange, which was first reported by Vanity Fair, occurred on March 25 following Trump's campaign rally in Waco, Tex. The leading 2024 Republican contender was speaking with a group of reporters aboard his plane when NBC News reporter Vaughn Hillyard suggested that he seemed "frustrated" by Bragg’s investigation. The question seemingly hit a nerve for Trump, who told the reporter not to ask "any more questions."

"I’m not frustrated by anything," Trump replied, according to a recording obtained by The Washington Post. "What am I, frustrated? — I just did a speech for two hours. I’m not frustrated by it. It’s a fake investigation. We did nothing wrong — I told you that. … It’s the exact opposite. This is fake news, and NBC is one of the worst at it. Don’t ask me any more questions," he said.

Let's face it, debates are pointless now. There hasn't been an even decent moderator during a presidential debate in decades, they never stay on topic or discuss actual policy differences or present any new ideas. To have a real debate the candidates and moderator need to be hooked to a shock collar and the second one goes off topic they get a reminder.

“The View” co-host Sunny Hostin said Wednesday she is “disgusted” with CNN for hosting a town hall with former President Donald Trump.

“That’s what I’m so disgusted by,” Hostin began. “Because, again, when someone shows you who they are, you believe them. When you show that you are an insurrectionist, that you’re a liar, that you’re a bigot, that you’re a racist, that you’re sexist, that you’re twice impeached, that you are currently a criminal defendant and likely to be a criminal defendant in two other jurisdictions. I know everything that I need to know, that you grab women by their genitals, I know everything I need to know about you.”

“So to put a button on it, I don’t think that you give that type of person a platform. You don’t do that and I’m actually dismayed that CNN on May 10 at 8 o’clock … is going to be giving him this platform. He is one of the most destructive people,” Hostin continued. Who was paying for the plane? Who was an invited guest? Is Trump required by law to give free plane rides to anyone who asks?
