Sweden Finland (I looked it up) I believe and Mike Eruzione? (no idea who the captain was)

Actually it is a guess.....

But that is the best sports moment EVER.
That's right and Eruzione was the captain or they called him that and the goaltender was Jim Craig who I think played professional some for the Bruins.

We play Kentucky in Knoxville right? Well I went to movies once I was in line to purchase tickets and I asked where you from they said Kentucky.so five minutes later the ticket master said how many and to my surprise the Kentuckians said 7 and I said huh but the were only 4of course the ticket master stated I only see 4 of you and the one said no my three sisters and my cousins that makes 7. Then I realized it only in Kentucky can you be siblings and cousins at the same time never realized it to then.

When Jim Craig had the flag wrapped around him looking for his dad.... if that doesn't bring tears to your eyes, you aren't really alive...

To go back to baseball for a moment... I love watching the Diamond Vols. I really do. But....

There are a couple of things that really concern me about our program. One is that we play so many home games. When you have the hometown crowd all the time, it seems to make for a better experience and contributes to a lack of 'focus?' when on the road. I think we have proven this this year by getting clocked on the road so often. The other is our park. Yeah I know we all love the long ball, but it's almost embarrassing that so many go out at home. I know there isn't room to expand, but they can raise the homerun line on the walls a la the Green Monster. Long ball homers at Lindsey Nelson are long outs in Hoover.

Just sayin'

Part of the problem being a Cowboys fan. Don’t get to appreciate the angst of NFC East fans. 😉
It was tough for me rooting against Peyton when he was with the Colts in the Texans division.
I will root for Jailin even against the Cowboys unless it is 3rd and 7 and game on the line then I say bust his ass Trevon Diggs lol

We went 13-2 in true road games last season. A lot of SEC teams have similar talent now and we just so happened to play the hardest teams in the conference on the road with the lone exception being Missouri which is becoming a very head scratching series as the season goes on. This is just a flukey season on the road with a ton of great teams.

I did as free with the HR thing because very few of ours barely get over like the one from MSU Friday. They are long HRs that would get out everywhere.
To say our record on the road in indicative of playing too many at home. Our schedule was just brutal no matter where we would have played.
We dropped three to Mizzou. Mizzou!
