I’ve lived in middle Tennessee a good part of my life and grew up in middle Tennessee.. they’re more of a team for transplants.. never got into them, and Lordy how I tried lol..this just seals the deal for me lol.. Levis is just plain irritating
See, I also was born and raised here and as soon as they came here, that was me and my familes team because that is the team that represents our home state. Even if they do make it hard as **** sometimes lol.
Fan psychology is always an interesting topic imo.

Taking college players from teams you hate, even if they are occasionally douches is just kind of how pro sports works, man lol

Yea, criticizing them for taking a bad player is one thing. But criticizing them just for taking a UK player doesn’t make sense. Teams should take any players they think will help them. I’m not a Titans fan btw.

Levis is not a good QB…. He threw how many interceptions against our terrible secondary last year?

I doubt Levis gets any meaningful playing time for the Titans.
Titans need to focus on making good, well rounded decisions. In lieu of allowing people that clearly are out of touch with reality, have say. I see Vrabel as a visionary, able to see the forest for the trees, in a sense, a parallel between Knox and Nash.

I think the Titans tried to get Darnell, and could have taken HH. How do you take a guy knowing he wont ever see the field? To me upside difference is huge on HH.

Titans needed WR help. So, they draft a guy with no ligament. Ced wouldve been perfect fit in 3rd round for them ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Bringing it all together. Titans owe Vols nothing. But if they truly want success they need to realize there is a corollary. Butts in seats.

If they dont draft a Vol, get players to help win a Champiomship. Dont leave your fans scratching their heads.

They should have drafted another lineman. They couldn't protect against anyone.

You do realize the only reason the Steelers stay in Pittsburgh is because they get what they want, right? Every team is a mercenary team. Every player is a mercenary player.
That’s not true at all for players and especially owners…. Now I am not saying that the Steelers neglect the organization …. They do plenty but the owners and city works together… Both sides work together…. That may change if the Rooneys sell the team…. I don’t know the Oilers situation but there are a few teams that just go to the highest bidder.

As for players…. The majority are mercenaries but there are a few examples of players that took less for the good of the team. Tom Brady is one example of a player who took less than market value so his team could pay other players to try and win super bowls…. Another example is James Harden in pro basketball… He took less money to give the 76ers flexibility to try and win a championship.

I disagree 100%….. Never ever draft to try to appease the fans….I don’t think they had a good draft at all but you draft the player that you think is going to help you win.

they need speed... they are slow
Yes they are slow in lots of areas. And they do need to get some speed at WR and secondary especially. Don't know what's left to pick from at wr but either thru the draft and/or free agency but they have to get some from somewhere. I also think a guy like Princeton Fant could bolster their TE room and add some flexibility to the offense and the ways he could be utilized

again they have to pony up at some point.

while i dont think they're the cleveland indians looking for a new home in houston. at some point you have to cut ties and embrace reality. nashville isnt houston.

go after big time players and stop loving in past. archaic offenses again don't sell tickets

I think what you're saying is assumed in my argument. HH was the best player & they had a need.
The scouts for the Titans think Will Levis is the better player…. If I was drafting…. I wouldn’t have taken either one of them… I would have built a solid team and then drop a young qb into the lineup to lead them for five years.

It's my opinion that with many franchises in the NFL it's not about winning the game, at least not pursuing championships. Titans are one of these franchises.
