I was never a big NFL fan, but pulled for the titans over others. I'll be looking for a new team. . . maybe the Steelers, their helmets are different, . . . or maybe wherever Hooker goes.

I want to be wrong. But I don't think I am.

Will Levis could never start an NFL game and it wouldn't get them fired. Jon Robinson used a first round pick on a guard that never made it through a single training camp and that didn't get him fired. So how would missing on a second round pick get anyone fired?

Don't get me wrong. If the Titans fail to find an answer at QB in 4 years, people will get fired for sure. But that is an entirely different proposition.

If they traded into the top 5 and picked Levis ala Mitchell Trubisky, I would agree with you. But they are no more tied to Will Levis than they are to Malik Willis, who is basically cut with this pick. The Titans could tank this season, pick Drake Maye next year and no one would bat an eye.

A second this year and a third next year is nothing. Jon Robinson smoked at least one premium pick a year and people thought he was a good GM for a long time. It isn't until you start giving up top 5 picks or multiple first rounders that you can't afford to miss. The future of the organization does not hinge on the 33rd pick of the draft, cmon.
