I would take Bennett over Levis just being completely honest.

Honestly I probably would too, but I wouldn't in the 2nd round.

I think Hooker is the last QB that is worth a 2nd round the others I'd wait it out and just take best available QB at that point. Not a ton of depth at QB...but ya never know.

Guys like Aidan O'Connell, Dorian Thompson-Robinson, Max Duggan, or even Jaren Hall could be late round sleepers and may be better value than reaching on Bennett (who NFL.com has as a Round 6 grade) in the second.

You must be thinking of the wrong poster….. I NEVER EVER watch ESPN unless it’s the draft or a ballgame is on…. I hate all of their other shows…. I might post some of their stuff if I find it interesting from Twitter…. I don’t follow any of them though for the same reason.

I have followed the draft enough to know a small contingent of teams will drool over a qb like Levis… He has a good build, mobility, and a great arm… He dropped bc he is a very weird, odd guy, imo. The colts were probably choosing between him and AR, imo.
I think this is a very good point you are making. And underappreciated. It is hard to imagine a team rallying around Levis -- especially an NFL team. Try to picture it.

And you may well be correct about what the Colts were thinking also. It's not implausible imo. Idk what the Colts were thinking.

I don't like Kentucky. I was there when they beat us by 30+ in Neyland. I hate everything about them. I was also there for Halloween when we destroyed them. It was great. However, it makes me uncomfortable to watch a propect sit at an invitation only event while everyone mocks him as he falls pick after pick losing millions of dollars. Those things aren't mutually exclusive and some people are jerks. He's still human and 23. As if you would ever even be able to sniff the jock strap of someone in the NFL.

Typically i would agree with you.....But not in this case. Its not our fault he has had zero humility. That was two huge differences in the QBs from last night. Richardson and Levis have completely different makeup. AR is at least humble and willing to listen/learn. Levis has showed nothing but arrogance. I mean these teams met with them so the answer is right there in front of you on how those front offices feel about him too. Apparently they feel like we do.

The majority of the situation is ESPN’s fault (especially Kiper) and people that work for NFL Teams to spread false info. I do feel bad for the kid but it happens every year almost.

Any Cowboys fans on this site or am I a lone wolf?
Bears fan but I work for the Cowboys organization…so I like it when things are good. Wanted Mazi to drop to the lower second. Your Boys reached for him in the first, but that’s nerd “value” stuff. Should shut down inside running lanes and allow Parsons to hunt.

It happens every year and there’s plenty of empathy for those guys. Levis is different, he’s arrogant and he made sure everyone knew it.

In a world where it seems like so many things don’t make sense anymore, last night restored a sense of order in the universe for me. Everyone who watched Will Levis play college football could see he wasn’t a first round pick, much less a top 5 pick overall. For once I don’t feel like I’m taking crazy pills.

But the exact same thing could be said about AR and yet here we are…😳

Mr. Unlimited is pretty damn odd, won a SB and played in another though.

I just think objectively most people didn't see anything from Levis that justified him being a 1st round pick. If you want pure raw talent, here's Anthony Richardson. If you want a Day 1 pro that has all the potential to be the face of your franchise for 10 years, here's Bryce Young. If you want something a bit in between, here's CJ Stroud.

If Hendon Hooker was healthy he would have been taken, but I think him being hurt and no other teams really having a need is why Levis wasn't taken. He doesn't really check all the boxes and he's not the best option in any category at all.

I don't know what you watch, my friend! I'm just saying you seem to me to take pleasure in reiterating whatever is contra the Vols and the consensus VNRF take at every available opportunity. You pretty much push a point. And it always seems to take the form of whatever people tell me that the television guys are saying. Or mostly whatever I reasonably deduce is what the television is saying because I hear people repeat it with approximately the same words and sense of assurance.

I don't claim that you don't hate ESPN's shows. I don't know what you watch. I'm just informing you that you are presently, in effect, justifying ESPN's hype train. I don't say that you realize that your story exonerates their takes all year and into last year.
Well Ill answer this in steps….

Contra the Vols
1. I attended every single home Wade Houston 5 win season in basketball
2. I was at a UT baseball game the day of the blizzard
3. I have had season tickets to football since 1990…. I drive 4-5 hours to every home game…. Sometimes I drive back right after the games(stopping at rest stops to take a quick nap to make it)
4. I donate money to UT(not a big donor)
5. I was at almost all the Todd Raleigh baseball games…. Now I can’t get tickets when I’m in town( don’t remember all those people being there during the bad times.)

My opinions are strictly my own…. I don’t follow the crowd and definitely don’t follow what espn has to say…. I’m also not a cheerleader …. I love the draft and have followed it religiously for years…. It wasn’t a crazy idea that Will would go in the first round( I would not have taken him bc I think he sucks)…. I also will find it hilarious if he keeps dropping or gets taken by the Titans.

As for Tennessee players:
Would loved for my team to take Wright although Broderick fits more what we need.
I don’t want them to take the rest bc I want them drafted higher than where my team will probably look to draft them… Our offensive guys have to prove they can be good nfl players bc of the system we run…. I’m hoping that they become pro bowl players.

Really hope they get a back to help Tony Pollard, Dak is a little better with a running game behind him
