Now wait! Y’all and reporters told me all about how all the talent was gone from the team and not enough players to get through a season so would be lucky to win 3 games. Guess hindsight makes those players look better since Heupel won 7. Not that anyone expected Deion to win more than 3, it’s more that he’s not really trying to make anyone better plus add some. It’s a “show me that you’re good enough to play for me, the best thing coaching has seen in 20 years” attitude. Guess it all comes down to attitude.

You are talking to the wrong person…. I thought we could get up to 8 wins the first season. I do think Heupel has done an amazing job… I was more surprised by the second year…. We have ran off guys as well that we didn’t think could cut it…. Nicer about helping them move on but still cut the ones that we didn’t think could hack it… I’m intrigued by his approach.

Depends on which sport. Football and Basketball, mens and womens, are all fully funded scholarships. All the rest are up to the coaches to divide how they wish.
