“coach prime” has no class. He is making life changing decisions for these young men based off limited information.
If the big OL can’t cut it, fine. But to likely alienate the Colorado coaching community is not bright. If screams dooley or pruitt to me. I hope that he is less succinct than either of those “coaches” He is gonna end up with the same no heart mercenaries that kiffin/dooley/pruitt had here. They will fold or transfer on him when the prime shine is tarnished.
I have never really paid much attention to Colorado football…
I’m old fashioned enough thst I am already more tired of his all flash no substance style than I am about the nfl hype for Levis…

Give me our coaches all day any day!

At the end of the season, it would be hilarious if his P5 debut was 0-12. 😂

Meanwhile, Tennessee will be all:

15-0🤠
You said it so much better. That’s what bothers me the most is the life changing decisions without at least trying to help them. They should have all left when he gave his first speech.

The horrible traffic and Kid Rock are really the only bad things about the progression that's happened in Nashville. The food is amazing there and there are many more things to do now.

Still prefer Knoxville over any other city in Tennessee though. Chattanooga would be a close second.
What did Kid Rock do?

He is sending a message loud and clear. I can’t improve your talent with development. If you are not college ready then I will cut you.

He may be the only college coach who doesn’t recruit except through the portal.

He appears to be a “star chart talent evaluator “ like butch. You are a 4 star, we have a place for you.

The only criteria is that you are awed by the majesty of “coach prime”.

It case it’s not obvious, I am not a fan.

He was in the Dallas area for a long time with no discernible redeeming qualities. He is the epitome of me, me, me culture.
I never really cared for him as a player. Didn’t care enough to dislike him. But really not liking how he is treating these players. And I do understand it’s a business and all that, but he never tried to help them improve or find a place. And he did it all while bragging about it.

All you morans with no sense of humor could learn something from this. Well done, @TheRain

I don’t get that vibe at all. Too prideful. He wants to win. It’s an interesting watch to see his approach, that’s for sure. Manipulating the roster like no one ever has before. He certainly won’t have anyone else to blame if things haven’t worked out in a few years.

Sending almost 50 players to the portal (so far) since he took over on 12/3... and I get that Colorado roster probably wasn't loaded with a ton of talent.

But of the 27 new arrivals since he took over only 12 are from P5 schools, 2 of which were kickers/punters.

Hell he landed Taylor Upshaw in January from Michigan and he's already back in the portal as of yesterday...
Brought in Yousef Mugharbil from Florida in January, and now he's in the portal again.

Maybe the guys at Colorado aren't all P5 players, but Deion isn't exactly replacing them with top tier proven talent... hate to say it, but not all them Jackson State kids are good enough to compete in the Pac-12.

If he does, I will still prefer how CJH did it with making every player better and finding a place for those who could not help the team instead of standing back and watching to see if anyone might meet your standards then bragging about getting rid of those you don’t want. Remember Tennessee was a 3 win team that lost the elite talent to the portal. Heupel is a coach. So far it appears Prime is a manager.
If Heupel wasn’t a winner….. it wouldn’t matter…. Zo was a good man and we had petitions trying to run him out of town.

I feel like college is about relationships with High Schools and with parents and is also about development.

If this is the plan Deion has every year then he will burn every bridge, eventually players, coaches, and parents will realize tens of thousands for a few months of borrowed time before he ditches them for a higher rated prospect isn't worth it. Especially if his tactics burn the free transfer of these players in the process.

Ouch. Will be interesting to see who he talks into transferring there and how much money he has backing him.

My point was I prefer the way CJH has chosen to build a winning team. So even if Prime does manage to build a winning program, I will not be a fan of the way he did it.

Agree 100 but maybe whisper that.

I tweeted this yesterday and have had Deion fan boys all up in my mentions. His son, Terrell Owens, and several other notable types have came at me. Good times.

I don't know can't hardly take my kid to a Preds game with drunk Bachlorettes screaming at us from a party bus

I’ve kept an open mind towards how he’ll fix the mess in Colorado, and tend to credit his results at Jackson State more charitably than many on this board. That being said, one common theme has presented itself perusing myriad The Athletic, ESPN and SI articles covering the Prime Time Show…”This is a business!”. That’s true on the face, especially with NIL and brands and whatnot, but if you’re BUILDING a program with CULTURE and RELATIONSHIPS? That can’t be your overriding mission statement. “Come to Boulder! We’ll build your brand and get you paid…but don’t get HURT trying to compete for Papa Deion! Get hurt and you can’t help me and you need to go to the portal! I’ll yank sumthin out of there that ain’t dinged up cuz this is a BUSINESS!”

Helluva recruiting pitch.

The other thing is Colorado can't treat it like a business like some of the big places cause if it's "just business" then you'll lose the good employees looking for more $$$. It's one reason the NFL had to put in salary caps and try to level the playing field a bit.

But in college football there is a big time difference in how much $$$ Colorado can throw at a roster versus a Miami, USC, Texas, Bama, or TN.
