“coach prime” has no class. He is making life changing decisions for these young men based off limited information.
If the big OL can’t cut it, fine. But to likely alienate the Colorado coaching community is not bright. If screams dooley or pruitt to me. I hope that he is less succinct than either of those “coaches” He is gonna end up with the same no heart mercenaries that kiffin/dooley/pruitt had here. They will fold or transfer on him when the prime shine is tarnished.
I have never really paid much attention to Colorado football…
I’m old fashioned enough thst I am already more tired of his all flash no substance style than I am about the nfl hype for Levis…

At the end of the season, it would be hilarious if his P5 debut was 0-12. 😂

The horrible traffic and Kid Rock are really the only bad things about the progression that's happened in Nashville. The food is amazing there and there are many more things to do now.

Still prefer Knoxville over any other city in Tennessee though. Chattanooga would be a close second.

He may be the only college coach who doesn’t recruit except through the portal.

He appears to be a “star chart talent evaluator “ like butch. You are a 4 star, we have a place for you.

The only criteria is that you are awed by the majesty of “coach prime”.

It case it’s not obvious, I am not a fan.

He was in the Dallas area for a long time with no discernible redeeming qualities. He is the epitome of me, me, me culture.

I think in Div 2 & 3 you can out talent. Not so sure in Div 1. OSU routinely gets out coached.

I really think the Titans want to move back from 11 and get a 2nd 1st round pick (this draft or next) OR a 2nd round pick in this draft.

Lots of people are mocking QBs to them and unless they trade Tannehill tonight it's just not going to happen IMO. I also think they see great value in Carvin and may pick him up with a later pick (late 1st or 2nd) he can play any of the interior spots and has made it clear he has no issue playing center at this level.

If they stay at 11 I'd be shocked if they don't snag a OT. There's probably 4 or 5 guys worth taking top 15 at the OT position in this draft. So whoever is there would be the pick.

But it's also a new GM...who has made it clear with FA that he wants the draft to be about finding starters and not just 2 deep guys (since most of his FA pickups were depth guys).

Pretty excited though... I think there's legit 4 or 5 Vols that COULD go in the 1st round but it will really depend on how teams draft. Hooker or Wright being the two I'd place bets on.

Also Deion screams "buyout time" to me. Not sure what Colorado's buyout to him is if they fire him, but wouldn't surprise me at all if he's willing to spend a year or two there just to get let go and take a different job.

Could be wrong...but the way he's handling the roster there is baffling. I'd actually love to see them go 0-X this season lol

Considering all the times we have to go against the OSU in recruiting now, I am wishing for Stroud to be an epic fail. With Hooker, Hyatt, Wright, Carvin, and Young flourishing. Nothing against Stroud personally, but who did he ever beat, surrounded by all those top recruiting classes?

Hyatt as Biletnikoff Award winner was our first punch. They mad. We'll keep punching.

I don’t get that vibe at all. Too prideful. He wants to win. It’s an interesting watch to see his approach, that’s for sure. Manipulating the roster like no one ever has before. He certainly won’t have anyone else to blame if things haven’t worked out in a few years.

If he does, I will still prefer how CJH did it with making every player better and finding a place for those who could not help the team instead of standing back and watching to see if anyone might meet your standards then bragging about getting rid of those you don’t want. Remember Tennessee was a 3 win team that lost the elite talent to the portal. Heupel is a coach. So far it appears Prime is a manager.
