4/10 are voting for the "D", not the candidate. That's why running the Weekend at Bernie's Campaign succeeded for Biden before.

You may be right, I just think the dems have hit the left wall hard and anyone not trying to back up and hit it again will look reasonable, even in the primaries. Should make for an interesting Summer and Fall.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is officially challenging President Joe Biden for the Democratic nomination.

Kennedy, 69, filed a statement of candidacy Wednesday with the Federal Election Commission, according to the Associated Press.

He's the son of the late Attorney General and Sen. Robert F. Kennedy, who was assassinated in California in 1968 during a run for the presidency. Kennedy is the nephew of President John F. Kennedy, who was assassinated in Dallas, Texas in 1963.

He joins spiritual guru Marianne Williamson in the not-so-crowded Democratic presidential field.

This will not mark the first time someone from the Kennedy clan challenged a sitting Democratic president.

The Warner Bros. DC universe of comic book movies is about to welcome the opening of Blue Beetle but fans are not welcoming a tweet by the film’s director, Ángel Manuel Soto, who said he hopes Donald Trump is assassinated like President Abraham Lincoln.

Soto’s tweet from 2018 resurfaced on the eve of the release of the summer blockbuster he helmed. At the time, Soto wrote, “The only thing I hope Trump has similar to Lincoln’s presidency is the way it ended,” Bounding Into Comics noted. The tweet was discovered by comics commentator Lofti Pixels.

As soon as the tweet was noticed, Soto deleted it at about 4 a.m. on April 4, 2023 — a few hours after it was reposted.

Both voting blocks practice cult voting as opposed to true candidate researched evaluation, and common sense. So you get D and R cult voting instead of the best person for the job voting. And that's why I'm an independent voter, I refuse to be a sheep of either party. I'd love to be part of a serious group that coordinated write-in candidates instead of the ones forced down our throats by the system.
