The Problems with Trans-ideology

I've always wondered why a business would tell someone why they refused service. Just refuse and if they ask why just tell them it's your right and none of their business... in a nice way of course.

Agreed but that’s a different topic. “I don’t have to tell you I did something illegal” is different than “it’s not illegal” which has been his angle.

That and I’m really enjoying the insults and appeals to authority. “You don’t get it because you’re not a business owner! You’re ignorant as ****! Did your parents fight a lot”

Not sure if serious but gender dysphoria is more of an identity disorder whereas body dysmorphia is an image disorder. Kind of like incredibly attractive women with incredibly low physical self esteem.
They both seem to be rooted in the individual’s mind. It was a serious question.

That this was planned before the shooting and is going forward because it has nothing to do with it
Fair enough. I would imagine that is actually true, too.

They still chose to do it. Which is their right.

I guess I’m hung up on Image vs Identity

Different. But very similar. Both would be wound up in one’s sense of self.

Was truly just a question.

If I read correctly you of the the opinion that children shouldn't receive surgical and chemical care for transitioning until they are 18, or older correct,?

If that correct, do you share that opinion with your transgender patrons when in political discussions? It not why? If so what's the typical response? Genuinely curious from someone who speaks like he has a large contingent of transgender patrons. Just transgender folks...not homosexuals as most I've met are against harming kids in any form.

Teen who laughed when asked for 'preferred pronouns' booted from Pokémon card tournament

"CHARLOTTE, N.C. (TND) — A teenager who plays the Pokémon Trading Card Game (TCG) at a high competitive level was reportedly disqualified from a tournament after he laughed when an official asked for his pronouns.

Makani Tran was out $800, a couple of flights and missed school time after he offended a nonbinary Pokémon TCG judge, cutting his tournament run prematurely short "for a bizarre reason," according to Dexerto.

The teenager says in a Twitlonger post that he never meant to offend anyone and was close to tears when he was disqualified."

disqualified from the event due to allegedly violating their inclusion policy by making someone feel unsafe and uncomfortable.

Felt bad for that kid.

Sounds like an awkward kid responding with difficulty to what (to him) was an awkward question.

The topic hasn't come up. Not typical conversation you have between staff and patrons. Honestly couldn't tell you.

A Canadian politician proposed legislation Tuesday that would criminalize “offensive remarks” within 100 meters of drag performances, according to video of a press conference.

Member of Provincial Parliament (MPP) Kristyn Wong-Tam is seeking to “create … community safety zones” that would prohibit “any homophobic/transphobic act of intimidation, threat, offensive threats, offensive remarks, protests, disturbance and distribution of hate propaganda” within 100 meters of drag show venues, the politician said.

Don’t want to be at the Wong place or Wong-Tam or you get yourself a healthy fine.

Serious question, why is there a little girl on stage for this?

This is the 1st paragraph from Wiki. So, tifwiw -

Freedom of expression in Canada is protected as a "fundamental freedom" by section 2 of the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, however, in practice the Charter permits the government to enforce "reasonable" limits censoring speech. Hate speech, obscenity, and defamation are common categories of restricted speech in Canada. During the 1970 October Crisis, the War Measures Act was used to limit speech from the militant political opposition.”

I just looked up the trans flag and it didn't appear to be very similar. So if that's not the trans flag on their logo then how does it tie to the shooting?
To me it resembles the rainbow colors arranged in a camo theme. I'm not enraged but it is at the very least in poor taste given the shooting that just took place, and recent militant trans movements some have associated the killer with.

They can do whatever the want, and personally if it had just been the rainbow colors I probably wouldn't have associated it with anything negative but the camo pattern itself drew my thoughts immediately to the shooting in Nashville.

But maybe it's just me.
