Bingo! We look great when we’re hitting shots, but that isn’t because we’re run action that’s difficult to guard outside of Rickea doing her thing. And it becomes glaringly obvious when we miss shot after shot.

This is why I was a bit confused at why many on this forum were so confident we had this game. The way the team shot vs Toledo was an anomaly when you look at how they shot the entire regular season. Also, no TK. With her on the floor, you don’t have to send any extra help on Kitley and everyone else can guard straight up. That’s not the case with the posts we have available.

Why did we play Franklin so much in the second quarter? Very bad decision.

I agree. She just can't move with that knee and turns the ball over. She would have been better to redshirt and get that knee and leg strength back.

It does actually. When your body doesn’t do what it used to you make strange errors. Like that save inbounds, a healthy Franklin would have been another foot off the floor on the play and probably able to make a clean pass.

And why not. We have not been able to stop her and we gave not been able to score. Let’s face, we do not have a guard who can play with the guards on the top 8-10 teams in the game. We have to get a point guard who can defend and score off the drive and from outside. The men have the exact same problem. You don’t win championships without a really good point guard.

Yep. Many have given up complaining about the lack of movement on offense. Our staff obviously don’t consider that a priority. So, it is what it is.

And she literally just said in a recent presser the team was in good shape. She said they got two days off after Monday’s game. The math ain’t mathing.
