It's "due diligence" ... and it makes sense that whether or not due diligence was performed would be of no interest to someone who doesn't care if an allegation against a Democrat is factual; as long as the allegation makes the rounds on the internet, then it has served it's purpose.

Wouldn't due diligence be investigation of claims of pedophilia by the man who holds the most powerful position in the US?

Yes ... if those claims are credible. The only person who can make a credible claim in this matter is Ashley Biden. This story never gets where you want it to go, if she never comments on it. She has probably been advised by her attorneys not to comment on it, because Republicans won't believe her denial anyway and Democrats/Independents aren't paying any attention to this.

Pick one going all the way back to Russiagate. You, the Dems and MSM ran with every allegation like it was fact, when one dropped because it was proven false you guys jumped on or manufactured another. Remember all of the unnamed sources getting headlines? Where'd they all go?

Mmmkay ... you might have a point in there, but this stuff with Ashley Biden's diary is just as bad or worse than any of that golden shower stuff from the Steele dossier. Granted, not very many right wing outlets have run with it. I think The New York Post did, though.
