The (many) indictments of Donald Trump

For reference - you stated what the breakdown is and asked people to consider why that breakdown was correct and how it came about.
THAT WAS MY OPINION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I stated up front it was only estimation based on opinion.
They should come up with their estimation based on their opinion and consider what that means, how it came about, and the future implications.

Good grief, sometimes I get a glimmer...........

I think it's a little more complicated than that. This was a classic case of the "fixer" being played for a fall guy. Cohen is not sympathetic either, but nobody is being reasonable when they suggest that he orchestrated this payment on his own accord, without any direction or guidance from Trump at all. Before 2017, I don't think Cohen was at liberty to excuse himself to a urinal without Trump's written consent.

They had Cohen on tax evasion. He plead to the campaign stuff without it being taken in court. So yes technically he was found guilty but it wasn't what they had Cohen on and the DOJ never pursued it with Trump.

Do you know what the crime they are going to charge?

It is not what you said.

Still, someone not giving their estimation is not some indication of their unwillingness for self reflection.

check your wording which I reposted - it tells a different story whether intentional or unintentional.

also, not answering your question isn't an indication that people are reluctant to engage in a little self analysis - that's a peculiar conclusion, an awfully big leap about someone simply because they don't answer.
I acknowledged in an earlier post that maybe the lack of responses indicated some were thinking it through and maybe just uncomfortable with their conclusions.

seems to be accounting related to how the payment was documented

Reimbursement for the payment was falsely recorded as legal expenses, according to federal prosecutors who first examined the case, and Bragg’s office is considering bringing a felony charge based on the falsification of business records. The charge carries a possible prison term of up to four years.

@hog88 please offer you wisdom on speaking to wives in a calming manner.

Funny side note to that...

One of the local radio stations does a "2nd date update" where they have people on that do a first date but never a second one. Anyway, the one the other day where apparently the dude had a girlfriend which is why he never went out again. The first date woman started going off on him to which he replied with the way wrong retort...

"You just need to calm down."

It went way, way, way downhill from there.

why assume such a negative thing about someone simply because they haven't posted an answer to a question?

Thank you.

I prefer phone pictures to actual diapers. Nobody needs to see that #$*!
When my wife got accepted into medical school, my dumba** friends must have thought she was already a doctor. One of them called and said “Hey man. I’m about to send you a picture of the sh** I just took. Show it to your wife, it doesn’t look right.”

Had to lay down some ground rules for the pro bono consultations after that.

Why is being uncomfortable with a conclusion a negative thing? It could be a very positive thing.
Why would you immediately assume it is a negative may be the better question?

At what point does Trump's own behavior start to matter? It seems like he is always the innocent victim. The fact that a stripper was paid hush money never registers with his apologists. As long as it's not a crime, then it's like it doesn't even matter.

I guess it’s no different than the Biden apologist, when does his behavior start to matter? I didn’t vote for Trump and wouldn’t even if my one vote was the difference between Biden winning a second term or not. Same goes for DeSantis but I’m better you couldn’t say the same about Biden or hell any nominee of the DNC.

I send her nudes when I don't think I look right.

She texts back agreeing with my diagnosis. .

So let’s punish him with the legal system? That seems to be the attitude amongst many here.

Michael Cohen was convicted of facilitating an unlawful corporate campaign contribution (from The National Enquirer by way of David Pecker). ....

I'm saying it isn't plausible that this wasn't done under Donald Trump's direction. Cohen was the patsy ... ala John Dean during Watergate.

LOL - oh Luther, it always goes this way.

congrats on being mature enough to self reflect and answer a question; keep having your suspicions why others do not err, I mean WILL not answer the question
