She meant to manipulate. That was her intention. With that in mind, I believe her statement was meant to suggest that YES, we should believe women when they claim to be victims of sexual misconduct. The alleged perpetrators in these cases should be viewed as guilty until proven innocent. That is what she was suggesting.

Now of course that is ridiculous and she walked it back after she got the reaction she was after.

Of course, we could do just handle all of these cases by means of the Luther Justice Model. Arrest them and let the courts decide. That’s what you stated earlier in this thread, correct?

IMO the focus of the GOP has changed because the level of actual mental illness and acceptance of that illness is effecting those former core beliefs. Can't focus on military might when the people handling your countries protection can't tell what genitalia they have...and live in a world where youbpick are choose your genetic characteristics...can't fight for fossil fuels and energy when people can't fathom that the EVs they want need coal to charge them...
The culture war created idiots who live in make believe world where there are infinate genders and and oil is worse then mining out small countries for lithium.

But I suspect that Stormy is affected by sampling bias in this particular area

But when those ethnic and minority groups wanted to have a right to say how they should be addressed and treated, that is somehow culpable in the Republican Party's embrace of white supremacy.

The horrid thing about preferred pronouns, at least as they are used now, is that REQUIRING someone to use someone’s preferred pronouns is COMPELLED speech, which is an abomination even more detestable that the denial of free speech. In educational settings, you can be fired for refusing to state certain words with which you disagree. Silence is not even a defense in that world. Maybe ... but 3 key items are not in dispute:

1) Stormy Daniels (real name Stephanie Clifford) and Donald Trump met in Lake Tahoe in 2006. They had their picture taken together.

2) Michael Cohen did write Daniels/Clifford a check in October of 2016, for $130,000.

3) Cohen was known as a "fixer" for Trump at the time.

It's a bad look for Trump ... Would a Democrat be accorded such a blind eye by evangelicals under the same circumstances? Unlikely.
