I am glad you moved the goalpost so fast. You went from the Russians being outnumbered, to the Russians not having a 3:1 advantage. and I am going to need you to quote something showing the numbers here, because again, the worst I could find was Russia had a 2:1 advantage.Ohh boy. Typically an attacker wants roughly a 3:1 advantage if they hope to take an objective. At best, Russia had even numbers going into Mariupol. Early in the war, Ukraine's fighting force was well trained across the board, including Azov. To act like this is isn't true is weird on your part, but I guess you have to try and do that when the facts don't fit your narrative.
I am going to need you to source that 3:1 number. I can't think of any modern conflict where an attacker required 3:1 odds to take an objective. Especially when they are fighting a lesser developed military. We didn't outnumber the Iraqis 3:1. we didn't need 3:1 odds in Korean War (and neither did the NK when they nearly pushed us out), WW2, Spanish American War, Mexican American War, 1812, Revolutionary war. Didn't say anything about WW1 because we were so late. Vietnam I am not sure how to track aggressor/defender, but we never had a 3:1 advantage there in any major battle. At our peak in Afghanistan we outnumbered the Taliban, but never got to 2:1, yet alone 3:1. Even if you go outside the US it was the same.
No. they weren't well trained. Ukraine's starting army was 500k, the vast majority were no where close to NATO or Russian standards. The largest total I have been able to find was this article stating that 33k were trained by NATO. but that includes some on specific pieces of equipment, and not the general trooper. Even still that would be less than 10% of the total were well trained.
How NATO members are training Ukraine for spring offensive
You consistently refuse to back up your claims even with media that would back you up. Its very weird. You claim to care only about the truth, but won't ever produce what you are claiming as the truth. You keep it hidden, very strange.
