There are only 34 players in ncaaw basketball shooting better than 40% from 3. That's out of about 3,500 total players, so less than 1% shoot that well. 35% puts you in the top 5-10 percent of NCAA players. I'll go a step further and say, if you are shooting over 40% from 3, you are hurting your team by not taking more 3 point shots.
