This Texas and Kansas st game is a dumpster fire mess by both teams

8-6 opening quarter. KState up 2 over Texas. Super sloppy game both directions so far. KState playing tough defense but cannot get a good look at the bucket. Lacking size of any kind and it’s a huge problem for them.

Texas just playing sloppy in general, turnovers, bad shots, bad fouls almost nothing positive in the first quarter for them.

Texas likely gets knocked out first for second round in NCAA tourney IMO. Gonzales has to score 25+ for them to be competitive and she’s just not that good honestly. Not athletic enough to create her own shot and clearly not very confident on that knee. She has a nice shooting stroke but just isn’t going to be able to take them very far. Once Morris went down it was going to be tough for Texas to score enough to beat most quality teams.

Watching MTSU for the first time this year and wondering how many pollsters have actually watched this team play vs. just going off their record and their win over Louisville over 4 months ago. This MTSU team lost to Texas Tech (NET #76), UTEP (#113), UTSA (#155), and Mercer (#194). They've had a good season in the C-USA but come on. It's ridiculous they were bragging about being the best team in Tennessee.

Phew, TCU almost pulled that off. Still, I don't think a 1-point win over the #139 NET team will help Oklahoma's NET (or case to host).

This MTSU team lost to Texas Tech (NET #76), UTEP (#113), UTSA (#155), and Mercer (#194). They've had a good season in the C-USA but come on. It's ridiculous they were bragging about being the best team in Tennessee.

It was always stupid to rank MTSU, come on now. Imagine them playing in a P5 conference. Beyond crazy to rank that team top 25. Same for UNLV. Both would be sub .500 in conference play in a P5 conference. UT would destroy both of them…

A win over Louisville doesn't have the same kind of weight this year. Bit a down year for their standards.. but they could be a tough out in NCAA's given their aggressive style of play and they do have some good players
