He is not going to get a VP slot. He doesnt have the background or a natural constituency that demonstrates that kind of experience or voters to the table. He is running for a cabinet post in a GOP administration. He absolutely does have the credentials for that. Would love to see him as Secretary of Health and Human Services!

I remember years ago a former democrat friend of mine told me that Paul Ryan was a snake. A few years later I realized he was correct. However the democrat party today would welcome the snake Paul Ryan with open arms simply because he has TDS. Plus the democrat party is now the party of neocons. So Paul Ryan and the democrat party would be the perfect match.

As far as Trump getting the nomination goes. I don't see anyone right now running that is better than Trump.

Trump's time is over. Big donors have moved on. If he goes independent he is a POS for giving us 4 more years of a dem potus.

Wouldn't that be a good sign if someone can win the nomination without the help of big donors?

You're right he could run as an independent but that is his choice and people are free to vote for him if they want. As a matter of fact I encourage people to consider voting independent and third party more often.
