If DeSantis jumps in this race, it's going to be a bare knuckle brawl and the party will certainly be divided. Problem is, if Trump doesn't win the nomination, he will likely run as an independent splitting the vote and all but electing Biden to a second term. If he doesn't run as independent, I could see him still running down and trying to torpedo DeSantis at every turn and then we see Trump supporters refusing to show up to vote in the general election. I'm really not optimistic for the 2024 election after what we saw this past November. R's can't seem to get their s*** in a pile.

Did you miss the first part of the post where Trump says if you’re innocent, why take the 5th? Thus implying guilt if you take the 5th. Then he took the 5th over 400x during a single deposition.

Guess I forgot to put that was a Trump quote. But that was a Trump quote.

The Democratic Party ousted Iowa and New Hampshire as the lead states in a major shake-up of its 2024 presidential primary aimed at boosting the black vote and benefiting Joe Biden's expected bid for a second term.

At its annual meeting in Philadelphia, the Democratic National Committee approved a new primary calendar - backed by Biden - that will see South Carolina hold its 2024 presidential primary first on Feb. 3, followed by Nevada and New Hampshire on Feb. 6, Georgia on Feb. 13 and then Michigan on Feb. 27.

The new system, Democrats argue, gives better positioning to states whose demographics better reflect the base of the Democratic Party. It also ends decades of political tradition.

I think it's sad that we live in a world populated by anyone dumb enough to think that Donald Trump has even the most remote sense of piety or spirituality about him.

Right now, DeSantis has my vote, but I would vote for Haley if she was the nominee. I will not vote for Trump if he’s nominated.

Agreed. Same with number of people who still believe Biden is a „devout Catholic“
Like I have said before, the only President who I took seriously in terms of his Spiritual life was Jimmy Carter
