Whatever helps you feel better about every streaming company losing money, consumers paying more/getting less and being at least 90 seconds behind the rest of the world.Liking cable is kind of like enjoying bunts, flip phones and paper.
And they'll charge like 200/month for it too. Just like cable.Whatever helps you feel better about every streaming company losing money, consumers paying more/getting less and being at least 90 seconds behind the rest of the world.
Can’t wait til someone bundles all of the meaningless, in-the-red streaming services and offers them in one package. Gonna be the best thing to ever happen to you guys.
This hate is the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen. It’s clearly a flawed model, but acting superior about spending twice as much for the same content is like bragging about having herpes.Whatever helps you feel better about every streaming company losing money, consumers paying more/getting less and being at least 90 seconds behind the rest of the world.

You mean acting superior about an inferior product and referring to it as a flip phone? This hate is the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen. It’s clearly a flawed model, but acting superior about spending twice as much for the same content is like bragging about having herpes.
The only negative to it is the delay for live sports, but it’s only about 15-20 seconds and I can deal with that.
Is it? I've done the math and for my wife and I to subscribe to everything we (mostly her) watch, it's basically the same price as cable. I'm also lucky because our local cable provider doesn't do contracts and you can cancel at any time. This hate is the weirdest thing I’ve ever seen. The only negative for me is the delay for live sports, but it’s typically only about 15-20 seconds and I can deal with that.
For me, yes. Granted, I do now have to use a workaround to watch the Braves. If I didn’t have that, instead of YTTV I’d be on DirecTV Stream spending about $90/mo.But do you get all of the content you want?
Lol… That was a joke aimed at Vol30.You mean acting superior about an inferior product and referring to it as a flip phone?
There’s a 0% chance I pay twice as much as you and a 100% chance it’s not the same content.
And you're not on anywhere near as big of a delay as with streaming. Is it? The. That's wonderful for you, but for most that isn't the case. For me, yes. Granted, I do now have to use a workaround to watch the Braves. If I didn’t have that, instead of YTTV I’d be on DirecTV Stream spending about $90/mo.
The carriage disputes may eventually become too much and drive me back to satellite/cable, but for more I’m ok.
If I packed on HBO Max, Showtime and a few others, it would probably run the cost up around $100-110/month. If you like your cable content and the price, I think you should absolutely stay there. Just saying that if you don’t, streaming is an option you shouldn’t dismiss. Is it? lol… for me it truly is about 15-20 seconds. Like I said, I’m ok with that.Yeah, the 15-20 seconds is a joke. I was watching the Super Bowl at my buddy’s house and couldn’t even look at my phone. Pretty sure Rihanna was still singing on the screen when the chiefs kicked the winning field goal.
